Benefit Due Date Calculator (USPS)
This calculator is meant to provide assistance in determining future bi-weekly payment due dates and Postmark/Mail by Date for admitted indemnity benefits pursuant to C.R.S 8-42-126 and WCRP 5-6 (B) (C).
Colorado state holidays must be accounted for when determining payment due dates to ensure timeliness. This calculator only accounts for Colorado state holidays through June of the upcoming year.
Date of the admission opening/admitting benefits.
If the benefit type changes at any time, the initial admission
date will continue to determine future due dates as long as
benefits are continuous.
This refers to any delay from when checks are
issued/printed to when they are actually mailed.
If
there is no delay, leave blank..
When paying TTD or PPD: If payments are ongoing, the payment must pay through the DUE DATE regardless
of the date the payment is mailed or sent via direct deposit in order to be considered inclusive

Initial Payment
Payment by Check - In order to be timely, the payment
needs to be postmarked on the same date as the admission.
*In order to be considered inclusive, the payment needs to
include benefits through the date of the admission, if
benefits are ongoing on the admission.
Subsequent Payments.
Payment by Check - In order to be timely, the payment must be
postmarked 3 business days prior to the date the payment is due.
*The date the payment is due is every two weeks from the date
of the admission. To be considered inclusive, on a claim with
ongoing benefits, payment should include benefits through the
date the payment is due.
